'Buckshot' (i) was a British unrealised plan for an offensive to the west in the direction of the Axis installations in the Benghazi area of Cyrenaica by Lieutenant General N. M. Ritchie’s 8^th Army (May/June 1942).

The plan was cancelled after it had been pre-empted by the 'Aïda' eastward drive of Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel’s Panzerarmee 'Afrika' from the Gazala line.
