Operation Bunker

'Bunker' was the Allied air operation to ensure the speedy arrival of control officers at the German headquarters of Vizeadmiral Werner Löwisch’s Oberbefehlshaber Marineoberkommando 'Süd' command, located at Trento in northern Italy and at Trieste at the head of the Adriatic Sea, immediately after the German surrender in Italy (April/May 1945).
