'Causeway' (iii) was US logistic operation to stockpile supplies, for proposed operations against the Japanese home islands, on Guadalcanal island in the Solomon islands group, Iheya-shima in the Ryukyu islands group to the north-west of Okinawa, and one other location (summer/autumn 1945).
