'Chiffchaff' was a British special forces operation by the Special Operations Executive to undertake the training of local resistance groups in the Milorg military resistance organisation’s D.12 district of German-occupied Norway (April 1945).

I. Johnsen was parachuted into the area and pressed on with his task to the time of the German surrender in May 1945.
