'Cisco' was a British special forces operation by the Special Operations Executive to parachute a two-man team of No. 1 Special Force into the Balocociti area near Modena in German-occupied Italy to aid local resistance forces and help in the establishment of a secure base in the northern part of the Apennine mountains (18 January 1945 onward).
