Operation Cockerel

'Cockerel' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to carry out instruction and training of the resistance group in the Kristiansand area of German-occupied Norway (28 April 1942/late 1943).

T. Hugo van der Hagen and E. Jensen were parachuted into the area, and started work. In August Jensen left for neutral Sweden, followed by Hagen, who was part of the 'Carhampton' party early in 1943. After this operation was abandoned van der Hagen remained in southern part of Norway to aid F. Årås in the operation of the 'Carhampton' radio station. Årås was captured on 12 August 1943 but van der Hagen escaped.
