'Coldstream' was an Allied undertaking in which formations of Lieutenant General George S. Patton’s US 3^rd Army replaced Lieutenant General C. F. Keightley’s British V Corps of General Sir Richard McCreery’s British 8^th Army in the area of Linz, Spittsl, Tamsweg and Judeberg in southern Austria (6 May 1945).
