'Concept' (ii) was a British naval demonstration by the ships of Force 'A' off the eastern coast of Greece in preparation for and during 'Manna' (October 1944).
As part of the British naval operations in the Aegean Sea during this period, on 5 October the light cruiser Aurora and the destroyer Catterick bombarded the small island of Lévitha in the eastern part of the Dodecanese islands group and landed a small force to which the small German garrison surrendered.
