'Crackle' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to use a two-man party (F. Brandt and A. Torhildsen) to provide instruction to the resistance forces in German-occupied Norway on how to deal with land mines (July 1944).

The party travelled overland from Stockholm in neutral Sweden, and during two visits into the field delivered four instructional courses.
