'Danebrog' was a German attack by SS Obersturmbannführer Knud Børge Martinsen’s SS Freikorps 'Danmark', the Danish regiment of SS-Brigadeführer und Generalmajor der Waffen-SS Felix Steiner’s SS Division 'Wiking' (mot.) on the left of Pola to push forward the front line forward from Dubowizy in the fighting for Demyansk (5 June 1942).
