'Dante' was a British unrealised tactical deception plan by Lieutenant General Sir Montagu Stopford’s British 12^th Army (ex-14^th Army) in Burma to support operations planned against the rump of General Heitaro Kimura’s Burma Area Army but rendered superfluous by the end of the war (July/August 1945).
