'Day Ranger' was the designation of British day intruder missions by de Havilland Mosquito twin-engined fighter-bomber aircraft over Germany and German-occupied Europe to disrupt German military and industrial activities, attack targets of opportunity, and draw up German fighters under the circumstances in which the defence was at a tactical disadvantage (1941/45).
