'Dipper' (iii) was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to organise and train local groups of the Milorg military resistance organisation and supervise the protection of power stations in the Milorg’s D21.3 sub-district in German-occupied Norway (21/23 April 1945).
The three-man party of O. Walderhaug, H. Roald and R. Gathaw landed from the sea on 21 April, but arrests in the area meant the men abandoned their operation and arrived back in the Shetland islands only two days later.
