Operation Direktive 32

directive 32

'Direktive 32' was the German long-term military planning or, more realistically, statement of desire for the conquest of Iraq, Iran and India (1942/43).

All such planning was posited on the success of current German ambitions against the UK, USA and USSR in Europe and North Africa, and only very limited preparatory work for 'Direktive 32' was carried out by the Sonderstab 'F', with initial emphasis on the establishment of a clandestine German military mission in Iraq and the development of a volunteer group to develop plans for an anti-British revolution in India.
