Operation DLM

'DLM' was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Durban, South Africa, to Lourenço Marques, Portuguese East Africa, and as such reciprocals of the 'LMD' series (July 1943/July 1944).

The first known convoy of this series was DLM.2 of 8/10 July 1943 with the 4,364-ton British Caduceus and 7,069-ton British Inchanga, and the series' last known convoy was DLM.10 of 23/24 July 1944 with the 4,372-ton Egyptian Star of Egypt.
