Operation DM (ii)

'DM' (ii) was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Darwin, Australia, to the north (July 1944/September 1945).

The first convoy of the series was DM.1 of 24/25 July 1944 to Snake Bay, Northern Territory, with the Australian army ferry George Peat and 2,181-ton British James Cook, and the last was DM.7 of 4/10 September 1945 to Manila, Philippine islands group, with the 10,195-ton US Petersburg.
