'DN' (iii) was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical and sometimes a literal suffix) steaming to the north from Durban, South Africa, for dispersal (November 1942/March 1945).

The first of this 'Durban Northward' series was DN.1 of 20 November 1942 with 10 merchant vessels, and the last was DN.68B of 21 February/23 March 1945 with two vessels.
