'DSF' was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Dakar, French West Africa, to Freetown, Sierra Leone, and as such reciprocals of the 'FSD' series (February/July 1944).
The first known example of the series was DSF.2 of 24/27 February 1944 with the 3,314-ton French Schiaffino Frères and 4,158-ton French Tours, and the last known example of the series was DSF.9 of 17/19 July 1944 with the 4,186-ton French Agen and 766-ton Polish Oksywie.
