Operation EBC

'EBC' was the designation of Allied military convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Barry and the Bristol Channel to St Helen’s Roads, Isle of Wight, and later the Seine Bay, France, and as such reciprocals of the 'FBC' series (June/October 1944).

The first of these 126 costal vessel convoys was EBC.1 of 2 June with 26 ships, and the last was EBC.128 of 9/10 October with 15 ships.
