'EBM' was the designation of Allied military convoys (together with a numerical or in one case a literal suffix) from the Clyde river or Milford Haven to ports of southern England or the Seine Bay, France (June 1944).
There were five such convoys to deliver motor transport, of which the first was EBM.1 of 1 June with 36 ships escorted by the frigates Deveron and Hargood, and the corvettes Acanthus, Eglantine, Gentian, Heather and Rose. The last was EBM.SP of 26 June with 10 ships.
