'Eilbote' (iii) was a German undertaking for Generalleutnant Willibald Utz’s 100^th Jägerdivision of Generalfeldmarschall Maximilian Reichsfreiherr von Weichs’s Yugoslavia- and Albania-based Heeresgruppe 'F', supported by one motorised Kampfgruppe, to push to the south along the coastal road of German-occupied Albania and thereby establish an overland link with Generalleutnant Walter Stettner Ritter von Grabenhofen’s 1^st Gebirgsdivision of Generaloberst Alexander Löhr’s Greece-based Heeresgruppe 'E' (3 October 1943).
