Operation Envious I

'Envious I' was a British naval undertaking by Lieutenant J. McQuoid-Mason’s MGB-318 of the 15th Motor Gun Boat Flotilla to recover 15 British escapees and two British evaders from the west coast of German-occupied France in the Breton area of the Ile Rosservor and also undertake a reconnaissance of the island (3/4 November 1943).

The escapees and evaders were not found in the designated area, and it was later discovered that they had gone instead to the neighbouring Ile Guenioc.
