The 'Falke-Wissun-Stellung' was a German defensive position associated with the disengagement of Generaloberst Karl-Adolf Hollidt’s 6th Army of Generaloberst Josef Harpe’s Heeresgruppe 'A' in the southern sector of the Eastern Front in the area of Zideminukha and Povlo-Marianivka on the Ingulets and Wissun rivers about 37 miles (60 km) to the west of the Dniepr river (mid-March 1944).
