'Fuchsjagd II' was a German and Croat operation against the partisan forces of Marshal Josip Broz Tito in the Kalnik mountain region of the puppet state of Croatia in German-occupied Yugoslavia (4/6 March 1944).
The object of the undertaking was the destruction of the supply bases and strongpoints of the 32nd Division in the Kalnik mountain region to the west of Koprivnica. Involving elements of an undetermined German division (the designated 330th Gebirgsdivision did not exist) and single Croat battalions of Ustase Pukovnik Anton Moskov’s Poglavnik Bodyguard Division and Ustase Pukovnik Rafael Boban’s 5th Ustase Brigade, this operation had been planned as 'Fuchsjagd II', but was then cancelled and subsequently reinstated as 'Fuchsjagd III'. The partisans successfully evaded contact and withdrew south-east into the Bilo mountain region, and there were very few casualties on either side.
