This was the US naval blockade of French Guiana, which had declared its allegiance to the Vichy French régime (1942).

The undertaking was therefore related to 'Bungalow' (ii), 'Decanter', 'Floodlights' and 'Mudbath'.

French Guiana switched allegiance on 16 March 1943 to become an element of the Free French movement.
