'G' (iii) was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Guantánamo, Cuba, to San Juan, Puerto Rico (September 1942/April 1944).
The G.2 convoy of 3/4 September 1942 had the 2,281-ton Canadian Chr. J. Kampmann, 6,882-ton US Gulfstate, 3,129-ton US Helen, 2,323-ton US Marjory, 7,027-ton US Meton and 3,672-ton Yugoslav Nikolina Matkovic. The G.225 convoy of 23/26 April 1944 had only the 1,676-ton Norwegian Pollux.
