'Geier' (iii) was a German unrealised plan for General Ehrenfried-Oskar Boege’s 18^th Army of Generaloberst Ferdinand Schörner’s Heeresgruppe 'Nord' to break out of the army group’s near-pocket in Lithuania though General Hovhannes Kh. Bagramyan’s 1^st Baltic Front and Marshal Sovetskogo Soyuza Konstantin K. Rokossovsky’s 3^rd Belorussian Front and move along the Baltic coast to Memel in Lithuania (14/16 October 1944).
