'GL' was a British naval sweep at the western end of the English Channel to locate and destroy German shipping to the north of Ushant in the Brittany area of German-occupied France (23 September 1940).

The ships involved were the Free Polish destroyers Błyskawica, Burza and Garland, which found no German warships or coastal traffic for interception and capture or destruction.
