'Grebe Red' was a British operation in Norway by the Special Operations Executive to re-establish the original 'Grebe' party (January/December 1944).
The three-man party (A. Overgård, H. Storhaug and A. Graven) was initially hindered in its efforts to leave neutral Sweden by the Swedish police, and it was the end of February before the team crossed the border into German-occupied Norway. Radio contact was established with the UK and in mid-April the party was supplemented by the 'Goshawk' team.
The group remained in Norway for the rest of the year, with some trips back and forth to Sweden. In December J. Gunleiksrud took over the leadership and the team began its involvement in railway sabotage.
