'Grün' (ii) was the German overall designation of the limited campaign to support 'Braun' (i) with limited attacks on the French defences along the 'Ligne Maginot', in the region of Lunéville, in order to keep the forces stationed in these defences pinned and therefore unavailable for redeployment to other sectors (May 1940).
