'Habicht' (i) was a German unrealised plan for a diversionary attack by elements of Generaloberst Wilhelm Ritter von Leeb’s Heeresgruppe 'C' from Kaiserstuhl or Idstein toward Mulhouse in the eastern part of France as part of 'Grün' (ii) with the object of pinning the French defences and then breaking through the Maginot Line for an advance on Lunéville (May 1940).
