'Hai' (ii) was a German unsuccessful special forces mission by Oberleutnant Conrad von Leipzig’s half-company of Oberstleutnant Paul Haehling von Lanzenauer’s Lehr-Regiment 'Brandenburg' zbV 800, using captured British vehicles, to sabotage the lines of communication of Lieutenant General Sir Bernard Montgomery’s British 8^th Army along the North African coast after the Axis defeat in the 2^nd Battle of El Alamein (late October/early November 1942).
