'Hasty' (i) was a US unrealised plan for a paratroop drop by elements of Major General Major General Matthew B. Ridgway’s 82^nd Airborne Division at Trasacco, to the east of Rome, in an effort to draw off German reserves and thus facilitate the approach of Lieutenant General Mark W. Clark’s 5^th Army to the Italian capital (1 June 1944).
