'Hecht' (iii) was a German convoy operation along the north coast of German-occupied France and Belgium (19/21 March 1944).
The convoy was centred on the 5,540-ton tanker Rekum escorted by the craft of Korvettenkapitän Albrecht Boit’s 18th Vorposten-Flottille, and initially beat off the attacks of four British motor torpedo boats. The convoy then came within range of the British coastal artillery at Dover, and the tanker was sunk by gunfire on 21 March.
