'Herbstgewitter' (ii) was a German unrealised series of four amphibious assaults designed to expel the partisan forces of Josip Broz Tito from the islands of Mljet, Hvar, Brač and Solta in the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Croatia within German-occupied Yugoslavia (1943).
