'Housekeeper' (ii) was a British radio deception operation by Colonel David Strangeways' 'R' Force in North-Western Europe designed to suggest to the Germans that the fictional 76^th Division had moved into the rear of the area recently vacated by Major General E. H. Barker’s 49^th Division (October 1944).
