'J' (iii) was an Italian convoy operation across the Mediterranean (28 October 1942).
Bound from Taranto in southern Italy to Tobruk in North Africa, the convoy comprised one transport and one tanker, escorted by the destroyer Granatiere and the torpedo boats Fortunale and San Martino. The convoy came under British air attack, and the 2,552-ton tanker Luisiano was sunk by an air-launched torpedo.
