Operation KB (ii)

'KB' (ii) was the designation of British convoys (together with a numerical and in one case a literal suffix) plying the route from Karachi to Bombay, and as such reciprocals of the 'BK' (ii) series (April/July 1943).

The first of these convoys was KB.1 of 3/5 April 1943 with the 4,981-ton British Jalaganga, 5,330-ton British Jalavihar and 7,754-ton British Santhia, and the last was KB.2B of 23/26 July 1943 with the 7,754-ton British Santhia and 4,6651-ton British Varela.
