'Kleptomania' was a British unrealised plan for a special forces attack on the Ile d’Ouessant off the western tip of the Brittany peninsula of German-occupied France (April 1943).

The complete operational and tactical impracticality of the plan, in an area dominated by German air and to a lesser extent sea power, was realised before any firm details had been worked out.
