'Klette' was a German two-part offensive against Soviet partisans by General Heinrich Clössner’s 2nd Panzerarmee in the area of Kletnya ('Klette I' in January and February 1943) and Mamayevka ('Klette II' in April and May 1943 by Generalleutnant Hubert Lendle’s 221st Sicherungsdivision) in the Bryansk area of the German-occupied western USSR (January/May 1943).
