'Landonvillers' was a US tactical deception by the 23^rd Headquarters Special Troops to to simulate the continued presence of Major General Harry L. Twaddle’s 95^th Division at Landonvillers near Metz in eastern France even as this formation was replaced by Major General Robert W. Grow’s 26^th Division (28 January/2 February 1945).
