'Linoleum' was an Allied air attack on German flying boats moored on the Etang de Biscarosse in the south-western part of German-occupied France (December 1943).
The first pair of attacks in June of the same year destroyed four Blohm & Voss flying boats (the Bv 222 V3 prototype and three Bv 138 machines), and there followed a number of other attacks before the last German 'boats were withdrawn on 19 August 1944.
