'MD3' (i) was a British naval gunfire bombardment by ships of Admiral Sir Andrew Cunningham’s Mediterranean fleet of Italian positions in and around Bardia on the Libyan coast of North Africa (20/21 June 1940).

Anti-submarine support for the bombardment force was provided by the destroyers Havock, Hereward, Hero, Hostile and Hyperion.
