'MI' (i) was a British and French naval minelaying associated with the creation of the Dover Barrage and concerned with the laying of fields off the coasts of Belgium and the Netherlands (1/2 June 1940).
On 13 June the French minelayer Pollux and auxiliary minelayers Ingénieur Cachin and Alexis de Tocqueville extended the minefield while escort was provided by the torpedo boat Branlebas and auxiliary sloop Asié.
