'Mike' was a British reinforcement landing by elements of Brigadier L. G. Thomas’s Indian 36^th Brigade of Major General C. E. N. Lomax’s Indian 26^th Division of Lieutenant General Sir Philip Christison’s Indian XV Corps at Kyauknimaw at the southern end of Ramree island off the Arakan western coastal region of Burma (4 February 1945).
