Operation MN (ii)

'MN' (ii) was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical and sometimes a literal suffix) plying the route from Kilindini, Kenya, or Mauritius toward the Seychelles islands group for dispersal (October 1943/March 1944).

The first of these seven convoys, on 15/20 October 1943, was MN.1 of two merchant vessels, and the last, on 6 March 1944, was MN.2A of only the 2,276-ton British Recorder.
