Operation MS (i)

'MS' (i) was a British naval minelaying operation as a continuance of 'MN' (i) to create an anti-invasion minefield opposite Dover and some 8 miles (13 km) off the coast of German-occupied Europe (September 1940).

The ship involved was the coastal minelayer Plover, which was escorted by the warships of the 20th Destroyer Flotilla.
