'MT' (ii) was the designation of an Allied convoy (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Port Moresby, Papua, to Townsville, Australia (November 1942).

The only convoy of this 'Port Moresby to Townsville' series was MT.1 of 12/14 November 1942 with the 10,346-ton British Duntroon and three 7,176-ton US Liberty ships in the form of George Matthews, Jason Lee and Stephen Johnson Field.
