Operation MT (iii)
'MT' (iii) was a German series of four naval minelaying operations ('MT1', 'MT2', 'MT3' and 'MT4') off Malta (16/31 December 1942).
S 4, S 31, S 35, S 55 and S 61 of Kapitänleutnant Friedrich Kemnade’s 3rd Schnellsboots-Flottille laid 73 mines off Valletta during this short campaign.
