'NA' (ii) was the designation of Allied military convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Langemak Bay, New Guinea, to ports in the Admiralty islands group (April/August 1944).
There were 36 such convoys. The first was NA.1 of 9/11 April from Langemak Bay to Seeadler Harbour, and comprised two US transports in the form of the 7,176-ton James D. Doty and 7,181-ton Matthew Thornton, which were escorted by the Australian corvettes Bundaberg, Kapunda and Stawell. The last was NA.43 of 20/21 August from Langemak Bay to Seeadler Harbour, and comprised two US transports in the form of the 7,176-ton Jacques Laramie and 7,194-ton Nancy Hanks, which were escorted by the US submarine chaser SC-981 and motor minesweeper YMS-52.
